Hi there! My name is Taylor, and I am a clinical social work intern. I am currently completing my master’s degree in clinical social work at Western New Mexico University, with a focus on trauma-informed care. I began my journey in social work out of a deep passion for supporting individuals and families through healing, growth, and resilience. Over the course of my training, I have gained experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, focusing on trauma, anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation.

In therapy, I use a blend of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients build insight and develop tools to navigate life’s challenges. I also take a strengths-based perspective, meaning I believe every client has unique skills and abilities that can be harnessed for change and healing. My goal is always to create a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Outside of my work, I am a full-time single mother of two wonderful boys. I find joy in being outside with our farm animals and exploring every adventure that comes my way.

Healing looks different for everyone, and I see my role as walking alongside clients as they discover their strengths and create meaningful change.
