After having spent several years engaging in office-based psychotherapy, she transitioned to home-based therapy as a Multisystemic Therapist (MST) in which she worked with parents who had teens who displayed antisocial personality traits such as verbal and physical aggression, low academic success, drug use, problem sexual behaviors and legal involvement amongst other struggles.

Aside from Dr. Ross’ models of therapy, she has been a born again Christian for almost 20 years and strives to be authentically whom God created her to be; both in her personal and professional life. Dr. Ross is an assertive, outspoken, straightforward therapist, who enjoys working with a clientele who are ready to work and reach their goals. Dr. Ross believes that, a crisis comes before a change. This means that we do not change unless a situation arises that challenges our way of thinking, being and living. Once that crisis occurs, then it is imperative that we push ourselves to a higher level. We should not ask ourselves “Why me?” But we should ask, “What is it that I need to learn from this experience?” Dr. Ross’s goal is for the Faith Works family to gain Strength through Love.
