Diana M., MSW Intern

My name is Diana Mullen and I am an MSW intern from New Mexico Highlands University. I grew up in Albuquerque before going to college in the pacific northwest. I hold a bachelor's degree in medical anthropology and am pursuing by master’s in social work. I am on track to graduate with my degree in May of 2025.

I have experience working with a wide range of individuals in terms of both age and cultural background. I do a lot of work with grief counseling as well as working with adjustment disorders, OCD, and ADHD.  My therapy style is very client dependent but often blends together aspects of CBT, DBT, trauma-informed practice, psychodynamic therapy, and narrative therapy. I also offer creative/experiential play therapy for helping our little ones learn how to share and manage their emotions. I try to create a very safe and non-judgmental space for sharing and reflection while also challenging my clients in a healthy and goal-oriented manner.
