My name is Angie Williams and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Missouri–St. Louis in 2017 and obtained my licensure. I am passionate about supporting youth and families through dynamic, flexible, eclectic, and evidence-based therapy methods.
As a therapist who specializes in adolescents, teens, and families I believe in meeting each client where they are with a compassionate and understanding approach. Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),Trauma-Informed CBT, and other therapy modalities I strive to create a safe space where people can explore their emotions, build resilience, and develop the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges.
With a background as a school social worker, I have had the privilege of working alongside children, families, and community support providers. This experience has reinforced my belief that healing happens in connection—with others, with oneself, and within supportive environments. I see every client as inherently valuable, capable of growth, and deserving of a voice in their own healing journey.
I am passionate about fostering resilience and empowering people to recognize their strengths. Whether they are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, my goal is to provide a space where they feel heard, supported, and equipped to face their challenges.
Outside of my work, I find joy in spending time with my family and my energetic dog, Maizy. I believe that the connections we nurture—whether with people or pets—are vital to our well-being.
Everyone matters. Everyone has a story worth telling. And I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they write theirs.
