I am a dedicated Master of Social Work (MSW) intern passionate about empowering individuals, families, and communities to achieve meaningful change. I approach social work with deep empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a strong commitment to advocacy. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) in May 2025, a milestone that reflects my determination, resilience, and lifelong commitment to learning. Before pursuing social work, I built a career in the healthcare industry, where I developed strong skills in client support, problem-solving, and navigating complex systems of care. These experiences shaped my belief in the importance of accessible, equitable services that address the whole person and their environment.

Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have gained hands-on experience in case management, community outreach, and client support. I am especially drawn to promoting mental health, advancing social justice, and ensuring equitable access to resources for underserved populations. For me, social work is a calling that blends compassion with action, and I am motivated by the opportunity to walk alongside clients as they build on their strengths and move toward their goals.

Outside of my professional life, I value time spent with family and friends, cherishing moments of connection and support with my loved ones. I also enjoy experimenting with cooking and trying new cuisines, finding joy in exploring different flavors and traditions. In addition, I love watching comedy, as I find laughter to be both grounding and restorative. Whether through my career or personal relationships, I believe in the power of kindness, connection, and advocacy to create positive change. As I continue my MSW journey, I remain committed to growing as both a professional and a person, striving to leave a lasting impact on the individuals and communities I serve.
