Lenae C., LMHC

My name is Lenae and I am Licensed Mental Health Counselor located in Albuquerque. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education with a minor in Psychology from New Mexico Highlands University in 2015. I completed my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with Grand Canyon University in 2025. I have had the privilege of working with individuals and families impacted by disability in secular and nonsecular settings, including education, for more than 10 years. Working with adolescents and teens in particular has brought me great joy. Growing up in New Mexico has afforded me a reverence for cultural diversity and I am committed to supporting individuals from all walks of life in my practice. I believe in the inherent strength of the human spirit and aim to help clients live authentic, purpose-filled lives. Although I am no stranger to pain and loss, I believe that it is possible to find healing and meaning through life’s greatest challenges. I welcome humor in my practice and aim to help first time and returning clients feel comfortable in their therapy experience. My approach is integrative and includes tools within CBT, EFT, and somatic interventions. I consider myself a lifetime learner and look forward to providing additional interventions in the future.
